Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program

The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program at the Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine provides a continuum of services designed to help restore patients to their highest possible level of cognitive and physical function. Specialized clinical teams of therapists, rehabilitation nurses and physicians work with patients to achieve their clinical goals and get them back into their lives as quickly and with as much function and independence as possible. As always, the family members of patients play an important role in the care team.

The beds at the Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine are licensed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The rehabilitation program and services bring together the best of Good Shepherd and The University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS).
